These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of finewineitaly.com (the “Site”) and any wine tasting, wine tour, wine educational session, or personal wine shopping service (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Fabio Ceccarelli, trading as Fine Wine Italy (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or booking a Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Fabio Ceccarelli — Fine Wine Italy – Sesto Fiorentino (Firenze) / P.IVA 06729940483 Email: fabio@finewineitaly.com
2. Our Services
We offer private, personalized wine experiences in Tuscany, including:
- Wine tastings
- Wine educational sessions
- Personal wine shopping
- Wine tours (single-day and multi-day)
All Services are provided directly by Fabio Ceccarelli, a WSET Level 3-certified sommelier, unless otherwise stated.
Prices shown on the Site (e.g., “from €X/person”) are starting/indicative prices. The final price depends on your specific requirements (group size, duration, locations, transportation, wineries visited, etc.) and will be confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp) before your booking is finalized.
3. Booking Process
- You submit an inquiry through our contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
- We respond, typically within 24 hours, with availability and a tailored quote.
- A booking is considered confirmed only once both parties have agreed on the details (date, price, itinerary) in writing and, where applicable, any requested deposit has been received.
We do not currently process online payments through the Site. Payment terms (method, deposit, balance) will be agreed directly with you at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations and Changes
- Cancellations made more than 2 days before the scheduled experience: full refund / no charge.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled experience: deposit is non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a Service due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., adverse weather, winery closures, illness) and will offer an alternative date or a full refund of any amount paid in such cases.
- If you wish to change the date, number of participants, or itinerary of a confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible; changes are subject to availability.
5. Age Requirement
Our Services involve the tasting and consumption of alcoholic beverages. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request proof of age and to refuse service to anyone who does not meet this requirement.
6. Responsible Consumption
We are committed to promoting responsible drinking. Participants are expected to consume alcohol responsibly during our Services. We reserve the right to end a session early, without refund, if a participant’s behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or affects the experience of other guests.
If your experience includes transportation, you agree not to drive under the influence of alcohol; where relevant, we recommend arranging a designated driver or transportation service.
7. Third-Party Wineries and Venues
Wine tours and tastings may take place at wineries, restaurants, or venues operated by third parties. While we carefully select our partners, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, facilities, or policies of these third parties. Each venue’s own rules and safety policies apply during your visit there.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in a Service.
- We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, transport disruptions, or venue closures.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Italian law.
Participants take part in tastings and tours at their own discretion and are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions or allergies in advance.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, photographs, logos, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Fine Wine Italy and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
10. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to submit false, misleading, or harmful content through our contact form.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence, if applicable.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
