I help wine lovers experience Tuscany the way locals do

My name is Fabio. I was born and raised in Florence, and I still live here. For years I worked behind a desk, in the marketing & communications department of a global company — comfortable, a few steps from home, and not at all what I wanted from my life. Food and wine had always been my real passion, so at a certain point I decided to stop just enjoying it in my free time and make it my profession. I became a sommelier.

Today I work as a professional wine taster and wine educator. I was a regional editor for Vitae, the wine guide of the Italian Sommelier Association, and I’ve contributed tasting notes on Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and Chianti Classico for the magazine Sommelier Toscana. In 2017 I earned the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines — the most internationally recognized sommelier certification — and I’m also qualified as an extra-virgin olive oil taster.
I guide private wine tastings and tours across Tuscany, and I work as a wine consultant and trainer for those who want to go deeper into the world of Italian wine.
Languages: Italian and English. I speak some German and some French too.
