About me

I am an Italian wine expert and can make a difference in a wine tour or wine experience in Tuscany.

My name is Fabio, I was born in Florence, where I currently live. At a certain point of my life I no longer wanted to sit behind the desk of a comfortable office, a few steps from home, in the marketing & communications department of a global company. I’ve always been into food and wine and decided to become a sommelier.

Now I am a professional wine taster and wine teacher. I was a regional editor of the wine guide “Vitae” of the Italian Sommelier Association and I participated in the preview tasting of Brunello di Montalcino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Chianti Classico and Chianti for the magazine “Sommelier Toscana”, being a contributor to it.

In 2017 I also obtained the Level 3 Award in Wines of the WSET and the suitability award to become a extravirgin olive oil taster. I usually guide wine tastings, speaking about the wines of Italy and Tuscany in particular. I deal with wine tourism, wine consultancy and wine training.
