Modern wines made with Syrah and traditional wines made with Sangiovese
Two ancient cities (Cortona and Montepulciano), two different provinces (Arezzo and Siena) and two wine growing regions, very close to one another.
But the wine style is so different: traditional Sangiovese is grown in Montepulciano where Vino Nobile is made; French Syrah was planted in Cortona, giving modern outstanding wines.
Let’s go exploring the place and enjoying the wines.
1 DAY TOUR: CORTONA & MONTEPULCIANO
- I will introduce you to the geographical area and will let you know all about the wines that are produced.
- You will visit 2 significant wineries and taste their wines
- You will have lunch in a nice restaurant and will pair wine with food.
- I'll guide you during the whole tour and can reply to all of your questions and doubts.
- You'll have the possibility to buy wines and I can advise on bargains or relevant labels.
